No proctoring data is collected outside active sessions.

2. AI-Based Processing and Identity Verification

  • Behavioral analysis based on session activity and interaction patterns

All AI-based processing:

  • Is conducted solely for talent assessment, evaluation, and identity verification
  • Occurs only during or in relation to an active interview or assessment
  • Is based on user participation and consent
  • Is protected by strict access controls and security safeguards
  • Is not used for advertising, marketing, or unrelated profiling

3. How We Collect Information

We collect data through:

  • Direct user input (registration, interviews, communication)
  • Automated technologies (cookies, logs, analytics tools)
  • Proctoring tools during active assessment sessions
  • Third parties such as recruiters, staffing agencies, or clients

7. Proctoring and Browser Extension Data Practices

This section applies specifically to the Risebird Proctoring Assistant Chrome Extension.

a. User Consent

Users are informed before proctoring begins. Data collection starts only when the user initiates the interview or assessment session.

b. Data Collection

During active assessment sessions only, the extension collects:

  • Active tab URLs and browser navigation behavior
  • Tab switching activity
  • Screenshots of the active browser tab
  • Session timestamps and activity logs
  • Browser and system metadata

The extension does not collect data outside active sessions.

c. Permission-Based Usage

The extension uses browser permissions strictly during active sessions:

  • Tabs: detect active tab usage and capture visible tab when required
  • Windows: detect window focus changes
  • Web Navigation: detect restricted navigation attempts
  • Network Controls: block access to restricted domains
  • Storage: temporarily store session data and logs

d. Data Usage

This data is used strictly to:

  • Monitor candidate activity
  • Detect suspicious or unauthorized behavior
  • Ensure fairness and integrity of assessments
  • Generate proctoring reports

This data is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

  • Outside an active interview or assessment session

Risebird does not offer monetary refunds for any interview. All purchases are final. In the event of any verified discrepancy or issue in the interview process, Risebird provides a complimentary REDO interview as part of our service assurance.
